My role as a music educator is to recognize each student’s individuality and to learn about their circumstances, including needs, interests and abilities. This includes personalizing lessons and having a flexible approach to accommodate students’ capacities and talents.

I endeavour to facilitate the student in developing self-confidence, creativity, a desire to further their knowledge and how to utilize it effectively in performing, composing and listening.

I strive to develop an innate ability in students to be competent, well rounded musicians who develop a love of playing and creating music.
